Devilled Eggs
This is just a jumping-off point for this recipe. My sister-in-law Mary makes the best deviled eggs, and she never makes them the same way twice. No wonder! She has so many chickens and so many eggs. I call her the chicken whisperer.
Ingredients
12 hard-cooked eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish
2 tsp. yellow mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1.4 tsp chives (optional)
Directions
Cut eggs in half lengthwise; carefully remove yolks, and place in a bowl, reserving whites. Mash yolks with a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, relish, mustard, and salt and pepper. Spoon into egg whites. Garnish with paprika or chives. Cover and chill.
